Desiree Renshaw

Meet Desiree Renshaw, Your Expert Realtor

To say I’m a people person is an understatement.

My cup is truly and wholly filled by the relationships in my life; not only with friends and family, but also
with friends who have become family, clients who have become friends, and everyone in between. I
love my people; I’m a firm believer that actions speak louder than words; and I have a passion for
getting involved in the Spokane community which has become the heart and soul of The Renshaw

Let’s start from the beginning.

My name is Desiree (Desi) Renshaw and I’m the founder of The Renshaw Group. My husband’s career brought us from Boise to Spokane 15 years ago on what was supposed to be a temporary move, but ended up as a long-term love affair with the city. Both our boys were born here and our family of four is proud to call this Pacific Northwest gem our home.

With a degree in psychology, real estate wasn’t always on my radar, but I couldn’t have asked for a better culmination of working with people and community integration. Initially inspired by my mother’s career as an interior decorator and complimented by my own propensity for creating functional, organized spaces, real estate has become an unexpected passion.

After valuable experiences with local real estate groups, my drive to hold the reigns to my own success took over. I wanted to build my own team and grow a referral-based business through relationship development and exceptional client services. Thus, The Renshaw Group was born!

My team is better than your team.

I say that with the utmost respect to others in the industry, but we truly have the Dream Team. The secret sauce for us is that we like working with each other almost as much as we like hanging out with each other. The complimenting talents these ladies bring to the team is a close second to the beautiful friendships they’ve brought to my life.

Alyssa Walsh is a licensed real estate agent and the organizational powerhouse of our Group.
I’ve been lucky enough to call Alyssa a friend for all 15 years of my Spokane life and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime. Her journey back home to Spokane; her expertise as a transaction coordinator; and her meticulous attention to detail are invaluable assets to our clients and ensure a seamless, personal experience you won’t find anywhere else. It would be easier to list what I don’t love about Spokane, but people are always asking what made us stay so I’ll give it a shot.

  • The People: You would be hard pressed to find a better community anywhere. I moved around a lot in my younger years so I say this with confidence. There’s just something special about Spokane that’s hard to describe and even harder to replicate!
  • The Proximity to Nature: Spokane’s motto “Near Nature, Near Perfect” couldn’t be more true. As an avid hiker and general lover of the outdoors, I’m always on the hunt for a new adventure. There are more than 75 lakes within an hour drive of Spokane and hundreds of hikes within 30 minutes. What’s not to love??
  • The Restaurant Scene: I know, I know.. you’re wondering how Spokane could possibly rival larger metropolitan markets like Seattle. In short, you may not have the quantity, but you certainly have the quality. I’m continuously amazed at the exceptional eateries Spokane has to offer.

And what do I love about real estate?

If you haven’t caught onto the theme yet, I’ll say it again… the people! Client relationships are truly the most rewarding part of my job. The cherry on top is finding out that my clients feel the same way about me as I do about them through testimonials.

Beyond that, I’m a chronic consumer of information, and the world of real estate is as fast-paced as it is
fascinating. Staying informed and ahead of industry trends isn’t just essential to the longevity of my
business, it’s also key to the success of my clients and something I truly enjoy. Give me the “all you can
eat” buffet of books, podcasts and seminars!

Balance is the key to success.

Connecting people with their forever home or helping them to meet their real estate goals is a passion, but – even more important – my family, health and personal relationships are passions. Our team prioritizes balance, growth and joy in our personal and professional lives, and we’re better agents because of it. It’s a juggling act and constantly changing landscape of priorities, but we truly believe it enhances our client experience and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
