Your Farmer’s Market Rundown by Days of the Week

Summer in the Pacific Northwest is one of my favorite seasons and our local farmer’s markets are a big reason why. We have some of THE BEST famers, growers, winemakers, brewers, food artisans and craftspeople for miles in every direction. They come together regularly – on varying days and times, and in several easy-to-access locations – to offer up their products and creations. What more could you ask for?? Whether you’re on the hunt for dinner, produce, artisan treasures, or just a night out, the farmer’s market options in the Spokane area are tough to beat.

> Wednesday evenings from 5:00-8:30pm, May 22-September 18
Kendall Yards has taken the farmer’s market concept a step further and made this a must-experience community event. Rain or shine, you’ll find a growing list of farms, artisan food makers, crafters and food trucks ready to feed and entertain you on Wednesday evenings. Nestled next to the beautiful backdrop of the Spokane River and in one of Spokane’s most vibrant communities, the Night Market is one of our go-to, family friendly summer activities!

> Thursdays from 3:00-7:00pm, May-October
In their own words, “The Thursday Market seeks to make available fresh, healthy, locally grown food and locally crafted products to the South Perry neighborhood and the broader Spokane community.” Located in another one of our favorite communities, you can find fresh farm offerings and international cuisine, to pottery, soaps, candles, and everything in between. With community and inclusion constantly at the forefront, the Perry Street Farmer’s Market is one of our favorite events to support. As an added bonus, we love stopping into Perry Street Brewery afterward to grab a drink!

> Fridays from 3:00-7:00pm, June 7-September 27
The Emerson-Garfield Farmer’s Market features more than 20 regional and neighborhood vendors, bringing healthy, affordable goods to residents and surrounding communities. Located in the parking lot of the IEL Adult Education Center, the Market serves as a community hub, bringing people and organizations together!

> Saturdays from 9:00am-1:00pm, May 18-October 12
Averaging 40 to 50 vendors every Saturday, the Liberty Lake Farmer’s Market offers a variety of produce, baked goods, eggs, meats, fish and specialty items from all over the Northwest. Located in the heart of Liberty Lake right off I-90, the Market offers a vibrant gathering place where people can come together to eat, shop and connect with area vendors.

We’ve included a more comprehensive list below because there are just too many to feature. Now get out there and enjoy some local offerings!!
